This was my first time ordering from Daruma and I was excited to see an establishment in the local area offer Japanese food. The food arrived nice and hot and within the delivery time frame. The portion sizes were generous which makes the price absolutely worth it. The quality of both the Chicken and Pumpkin Katsu was good! It was all tasty and we enjoyed it. However, things I’d note and/or offer as potential options: - The “Japanese sauce” that came with the Katsu items - whilst absolutely yummy - tasted like Chinese curry sauce with ketchup mixed in. It’s a shame as I was wanting the sauce to be resembling S&B curry or something that you’d see in other establishments selling Japanese curry. - When ordering online, it would be helpful to know that the dishes come with salad. Had I known it did, then I’d have requested it without in the notes. - It would be great to see the Pumpkin Katsu (or Kabocha) added to the menu as a side/starter. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the food I had and I look forward to ordering again as well as seeing what else Daruma has to offer.

Delivered hot on time, driver very polite and sociable. Usually say food is great but tonight a bit more detail. Spare ribs & bbq sauce, lots to eat very meaty... excellent Chicken & Mushroom soup, very tasty.. excellent Sweet & Sour chicken Hong Kong style and Chilli chicken in honey sauce.. excellent. You can't beat it
